These terms cover using theirgoodside.com and buying from Their Good Side ("we", "us"). By making a preview or placing an order you agree to them.
How portraits are made
Portraits are painted by an AI model from the photo you upload, in the style you choose. A person checks every order before it is printed. Because each portrait is generated, small details such as markings, collars or the background may differ from your photo; the preview shows you what will be printed.
Your photo
You keep all rights to your photo. You confirm that you took it or have permission to use it, and you allow us to use it to make, print and deliver your portrait. Please upload photos of pets only. We may refuse photos that contain explicit or harmful content, or that we can't use for another reason.
Your portrait
The portrait is for your personal use: hang it, gift it and share it as much as you like. Please don't sell it or use it to advertise a business without asking us first.
Free previews
Previews are free and carry a watermark. We limit how many each email address and connection can make, and we may change those limits.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and include free US shipping. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement as THEIR GOOD SIDE. If a price on the site is wrong, we will tell you before printing and you can cancel for a full refund.
Orders, repaints and refunds
Repaints, cancellations, damaged canvases and refunds are covered in refunds and returns, and delivery times in shipping.
Our responsibility
We will do our best to keep the site working and to deliver what you ordered. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.
Changes
